She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jimmy" Edward Norton Jr.; and her mother Sharon Jones (Burgess). She is survived by: her children, Kelli Reynolds (Cale Reynolds) and James "JJ" Edward Norton III (Heather Norton); her grandchildren, Kayla Gerhling, Dakota Koonce and James "AJ" Edward Norton IV; her father Roy "Diz" Jones (Mary Ann Duvall); and her siblings, Bo (Patty Jones), Kimala Jones (Scott Roth) and Dave (Dianna Jones). She is also survived by her children's friends like a second mother.
In lieu of flowers, her children request donations to be made to local animal shelters and breast cancer research organizations in her memory.
