He is survived by: his wife Doreen O'Leary Christopher; his children, Robert P. Christopher, Jr. (Rob) of Chicago, Judith Christopher Letsinger (Randy) of Chicago and Mark J. Christopher (Elen) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Andrew Christopher of Fernandina Beach, FL, Faith and Hannah Christopher of Atlanta; and his sons, Christopher Letsinger of Atlanta and David Letsinger of Tucson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be sent to the Robert and Doreen Christopher Scholarship Fund at St. Louis University School of Medicine or the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, St. Sebastian Conference, in Vero Beach, FL.
