He is survived by: his wife Spring Raulerson Wachter; his daughter Taryn Fonticiella (William); his granddaughter Olivia Fonticiella; his son John Melicharek (Dale); his stepchildren, Denise Cook (Joe) and Lauren Peavler (Flip); his sister-in-law Rayna Gardner (Gregory); his cousin Rich Baewic; his nieces and nephews, Heather Wachter Barnette, Theodore Wachter, Billy Wachter, Andrew Wachter, Sonny Kruger, Dee Kruger, Elizabeth McGettigan and Grant Gardner; and his close friends, Art Boyle, Walt Bell and Phil Goduto.
