He was predeceased by: his parents, George Donovan and Lillian Donovan; his stepdaughter Tracy Hadaway; and his siblings, George Dennis Donovan and Linda Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Sandy; his children, Sean Donovan of Florida and Lisa Cleveland of New York; his stepson Carl Hammond (Marcy) of Pennsylvania; his son-in-law W. Michael Hadaway; his grandchildren, Tatiana and Sean; and his close friend Buster. He is also survived by three great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to HALO Animal Rescue, Sebastian Florida, or any animal rescue.
