He was predeceased by: his wife Deirdre Gilligan. He is survived by: his children, Patrick B. Gilligan (Tara) of Sebastian, FL and Kelly Ann Kessler (Sergeant Donald) of Spartanburg, SC; his grandchildren, Brittany, Conor Gilligan, Fiona, Carly and Chase Kessler; his nephews, Joseph and Billy; and his niece Maureen.
