He is survived by: his brothers, Antonio José of Vasconcelos and Artur Vasconcelos of Canada; and his children, Antonio Vasconcelos (Isabel), Fernando Vasconcelos (Maria), Gorete LeVasseur Vasconcelos, Maria (Paulo) of Lurdes Botelho, Francisco Vasconcelos (Luisa), Odília Faria (Dimas), Sonia Rego (Joseph), José Vasconcelos (Mary Ellen) and Henrique Vasconcelos (Cathryn). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
