He was predeceased by: his parents, Adelia Burton and John Burton; his daughter Jane Elizabeth Burton; and his brother David Kettlehut. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his sisters, Linda Shearer and Sally Walton; his children, John J. Burton, Jr. (Susan), Patti Sue Burton-Pye (Russell), Michelle DeMunbrun (Craig) and Denise Pikramenos (Harry); and his grandchildren, John J. Burton, III, Christian Burton, Mark Burton (April), Christopher Marler, Sarah Beth Pye (Mackenzie), Audrey Brown, Sarah DeMunbrun, Erica Oriani (David) and Tyler DeMunbrun. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great-granddaughter.
Memorial contributions may be made in John's name to St. Mark's Anglican Church.
