He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Coard Sr. and Mildred Coard; the mother of his children Susan A. Coard; his siblings, Charles Coard, William Coard, Joan Merrill and Mary Walker; and his aunt Zoe Duke.
He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Coard; his children, John A. Coard (Kerri), Jennifer A. Behrens and Julie A. Coard; his grandchildren, Madisen Coard-Jones, Emily Coard, Ashley Coard and Peter Behrens; his great grandchild Eleanor Jones; his foster daughter Tonya Heinlein; and his sisters, Della Baur and Barbara Greeley.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church of Sebatian (1405 Louisiana Ave, Sebastian, FL 32958). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Sunday, January 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the Sebastian City Cemetery (1921 N Central Ave, Sebastian, FL 32958).
