He is survived by: his wife Susan D. Coard; his children, John A. Coard (Kerri), Jennifer A. Behrens and Julie A. Coard; his grandchildren, Madisen Coard-Jones, Emily Coard, Ashley Coard and Peter Behrens; his great grandchild Eleanor Jones; his foster daughter Tonya Heinlein; and his sisters, Della Baur and Barbara Greeley.
