He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Whaley and Ethel Whaley; and his sister Pat Palmer (Diane Whaley). He is survived by: his wife Karen Whaley; his son Jim Whaley, Jr. (Daylene); his brother Bill Whaley (Judy); and his stepchildren, Tracey Guffey, George Atkins, III and Sharyn Hall. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
