We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2023, at the age of 81, Dempsey Scott of Sebastian, Florida, born in Switchback, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Howard; his siblings, Cletus, Roger and Audrey; and his brothers-in-law, Benny Wells and Norbert Bressan.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Buckner; his siblings, Harold (Reba), Peggy Wells, Eva Bressan, Deborah DaVilia (Paul) and Danny (Glenda); and his close friends, Stanley, Mae Dillow, Gene, Mary Buckner, Betty, Carlos Casey, Ruth, John Peery, Janet, Bob Baugh, Diane and Randy Lambert. He is also survived by loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2090 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, FL 33607.
