He was predeceased by: his daughter Cynthia Marie Fritz (Clara V. Fritz); and his stepdaughter Laura Varney. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Agatha Dunker of Norfolk, Virginia and Carl John Fritz III of Sebastian, FL; and his stepdaughters, Cheryl Lynn Varney of Edgewater, FL and Kimberly Rene Varney.
