She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo B. Arnold and Edith Marguerite Arnold; her sisters, Marjorie Carol Swenson and Edith Charlene Farling; and her daughter Susan Lee Flemming (Robert Flemming).
She is survived by: her children, Carelyn Bertsch Calame (William Calame), John D. Bertsch (Rebecca Elzey Bertsch) and Mary E. Bertsch (Michael A. Durski); and her husband Sylvan.
