He was predeceased by: his brother Ray Hammond. He is survived by: his parents, Robert G. Hammond and Dorothy J. Haney Hammond; his children, Kenneth Hammond, Jr. (Kim), Karrie McCary (Josh), Penny Schutt (Geoff) and Caden Hammond; his grandchildren, Christopher Hammond, Kaylee McCary, Samuel Schutt, Kaleb Hammond, Emma McCary, Lettye Schutt and Lily McCary; and his siblings, Randy Hammond and Reba Grizzle.
