With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyanna Shorts of Satsuma, Florida, born in Bethesda, Maryland, who passed away on August 11, 2021 at the age of 54. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Arthur E. Shorts, Jr. (Gregory Boyette). She is survived by: her sons, Thomas G. Boyette and Tyler A. Boyette (Amber); her mother Joyce Shorts of Satsuma; her sisters, Tracy Winchester of Georgia and Penny Merson (Lucky) of Maryland; her grandchildren, Raquel Boyette, Noah Williams, Natalie Sanchez and Brady Boyette; her nieces, Melanie, Tiffany, Virginia and Ciara; and her nephew Dalton. She is also survived by 4 great-nephews as well as 2 great-nieces.
