We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2021, James Dowdy of Satsuma, Florida, born in Vidalia, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marvin Dowdy and Martha Mable Polk Dowdy. He is survived by: his children, Jim Dowdy of Stone Mountain, GA, Greg Dowdy of Satsuma, Kay Peoples (Thomas) of Jefferson, GA and Jinger Dowdy of Pensacola, FL; his sisters, Dot Galbreath of Vidalia, GA, Jewel Horn of Reidsville, GA and Pat Hahn of Charlotte, NC; and the mother of his children Johnnie Dowdy of Satsuma. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
