He is survived by: his wife Rachel Hegel of Satsuma; his sons, Eric Hegel and Justin Hegel of Lafayette, IN; his stepchildren, Brooke Story (Greyson) of Michigan City, IN and Abigail Albin (Zachary) of Wolcott, IN; and his grandchildren, Sophie Albin, Brayden Story and Calliope Albin.
