He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Harris and Ora Lee Head Harris; his siblings, Freeman, Clifton, Claude, Emory, John, Jesse, Corbet Harris, Christine C. McClellan and Orine H. Woods; his granddaughter Jennifer Harris; and his great grandchild Phoenix McCarrick.
He is survived by: his children, Frank Barney Harris, Jr. (Wendy) of Satsuma and Mellissa "Skeeter" Knowles (Dago) of Crescent City; his siblings, Layton Harris of Palatka, Geraldine Bolinger (Oliver) of Crescent City and Sandra Carter of Palatka; and his grandchildren, Kaye Knowles (Steve), Clifton Harris (Stephanie), Mary-Jane Hilton (Billy), Bryce Harris (Amanda), Emily Knowles and Craig Knowles, Jr. (Joanne). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
