He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Smith and Rosemary Smith; and his brother Joseph Reed Smith. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Smith of Satsuma; his sons, David Edward Smith (Erica) of Key West and Anthony James Signorile (Angela) of Jacksonville; his stepmother Jamie Smith of Virginia; and his sisters, Sharon Garvin (Jim) of West Virginia, Judy Pruitt (Kraig) of Virginia, Gina Smith (Winn) of Ft. Worth, TX, Leanna Minch (Max) of Gainesville and Jamie Disterhaupt (Jim) of Gainesville. He is also survived by six Grandchildren, one Great Grandchild; and many Nieces and Nephews.
