She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob and Lena Kooy; her husband Richard S. Flanigan; her siblings, Tunis Kooy, Clarence Kooy, Bill Kooy and Johanna Kooy; and her grandchildren, Michael Lolkema and Hannah Creech.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Lolkema (Jim) of Rensselaer, IN, Donna Bohling (Tim) of Schererville, IN, Debbie Marriott (Mark) of Satsuma, Nancy Boyd (Rodney) of Satsuma and Lisa Davis (Ronnie) of Palatka; her stepdaughter Stephanie Woods (Hal) of South Hero, VT; and her sisters, Liz DeYoung of St. John, IN, Annie DeYoug (Wesley) of Pomona Park, Bernice Boer and Gert Holiman of Lansing, IN.
