He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ashton and Evelyn Louise Madonna Ashton; and his son Corey James Ashton (Cristina). He is survived by: his wife Paula Bjorklund Ashton; his children, Jerry Rhodes Prather (Carol), Michael Ashton (Marie) and Kelley Jean O'Connell (Kevin); his sister Sandra Duffy (Lenny); and his grandchildren, Agnes Prather, Terry Prather, Amelia Ashton, Sam Ashton, Lily O'Connell, Kevin O'Connell, Theo Scotch and Westley Anderson. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
