He was predeceased by: his parent Alonza Merritt. He is survived by: his mother Clara Mae Merritt (Brown); his siblings, Henry Merritt, Glenn Campbell, Beverly Campbell, Stephanie Merritt, Alisia Ash and Merri Campbell; his grandchildren, Adriauna Carter and Alyea Cox; and his uncles, Rosea McRea, Marion Kent-Davis, Theodore Wilson and Warren Howard. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
