Shirley June Aitken Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley June Aitken of Satellite Beach, Florida, born in New Kensington, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 8, 2022 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert "Gib" Irwin and Mary Irwin (Wills); her husband Ralph C. Aitken; her siblings, Glenn Irwin, Marjorie Luffy (Irwin) and Clyde Irwin; her parents-in-law, Wilma Sandy (Aitken), Francis Sandy, Bertha "Tootles" (Aitken), James Swickey, Norma "Jeannie" Aitken, Louise Irwin and Annie Laurie "Orie" Irwin Ference; and her grandson Andrew Morris.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Aitken (Brenda), Susan Morris (Hugh), Nancy Bird (Dave) and Debbie Dunham (Shawn); her grandchildren, David Aitken (Mary), Brian Aitken (Lucy), Laura Hill (Baxter), Amanda Aitken, Justin Morris (Krystal), Rob Bird (Melanie) and Mike Bird (Cari); her great grandchildren, Isla Aitken, Nolan Aitken, Eloise Hill, Tori Morris, Jaelyn Morris, Kristen Morris, Khloe Morris, Braden Morris, Kiernan Bird, Kendall Bird, Carter Bird and Mackenzie Bird; her sister Mary Ann Korzon (Lawrence); her brother-in-law James Luffy; and her cousin Jean Harrison. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
