It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sara Jean Overstreet of Satellite Beach, Florida, who passed away on September 10, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sara Cox Casey and Rudy Faktor; her sister Bobbi Brooks; and her husband Col. Robert S. Overstreet (RS). She is survived by: her children, Laura Ridley, Bob Overstreet, Alice Overstreet, Bruce Overstreet, Frank Overstreet and Dan Overstreet; her grandchildren, Sean Ridley, Michael Overstreet, Jennifer Overstreet, Sara Greenwood, Evan Overstreet and Will Overstreet; and her great grandchildren, Grace, Charles Ridley and Bjorn Greenwood.
Giving consideration to the prevailing covid related health concerns, the family has planned an intimate graveside funeral of immediate family at Florida Memorial Garden's New Veterans Garden on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11 am.
Donations in Sara Jean Overstreet's memory may be made to Samaritan's Purse or Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.
