He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia M. Gregory; his daughter Lynn Ehleiter; his grandson Shane Ehleiter; and his sisters, Constance Maslik and Florence Downey.

He is survived by: his children, Janet Beck (Tim), Sandy Gregory and Robert Gregory, Jr. (Donna); his brother Arthur North (Susan); and his son-in-law Gerald Ehleiter. He is also survived by three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
