It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Clinton Rogers of Satellite Beach, Florida, born in Del Rio, Texas, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Otis Rogers and Blanche Rogers; his wife Mary Rogers; and also, Jo Featherhoff, Ray Featherhoff, Steve Rogers, Brandi Buckley, Blake Rogers and Jill Carney.

Due to COVID, a private burial will occur at Florida Memorial Gardens in the New Masonic section.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the United Methodist Church of Satellite Beach and St. Francis Hospice.

“Mr. Rogers was a friend to Jerry and I. He was more like a uncle to us. He was a very kind man to us both. He was the best landlord we ever had. I will miss his cowboy boots and cowboy hats. He was a joy to us at Emerald Shores condominium, HE always gave us a grand smile and positive words. It was a honor to have met him along our journey in life. He is with Mary now who he missed SO! He is at peace and with her once again FOREVER! I want all the family and friends to say how sorry we”
