He was predeceased by: his daughter Melissa Greisamer. He is survived by: his wife Sarah "Sally" Greisamer; his children, Matthew Greisamer (Virginia), Jamie Carr and Jason Greisamer (Utah); his granddaughter Ella Carr; his son-in-law Randy Carr; and his mother Audrey Romer (Fort).

In lieu of flowers, Rich has requested that donations be made to the Air Force Aid Society.
