She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Chalmers Moon and Ruth Alicia Moon (Copeland); her husband Jack O. McAlister; her granddaughters, Shelby Rae Acker and Malori Jo Acker; her son-in-law Harry David Acker; her brother O. C. Moon; and her stepdaughter Libby McAlister Walton.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cynthia Coley Heyne (Bob) of Satellite Beach, Berri Leigh Coley Acker of Palm Bay and Wanda Faye Coley Kelly of Melbourne; her stepchildren, Jack McAlister Jr. of Alabama, Bobby McAlister of Alabama and Patricia Harris of Alabama; her grandsons, Brad R. Heyne of Everett and Paul B. Heyne (Angeli) of Satellite Beach; her great grandchildren, Janessia Arnold, Payten Eskridge, Clorissia Ferrell, Marlania Acker, Robert Bleau, Quinn Heyne and Peter Heyne; and her sisters, Sue Monroe of Georgia and Faye Angelottti of Oklahoma.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in memory of Betty to be made to South Patrick Baptist Church 343 South Patrick Dr., Satellite Beach, FL 32937.
