He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Heyesen and Arlene Welsh; and his brother Brian "Bubba" Heyesen. He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his children, Jonathon David (Kyle Leia) of Duluth and Heather Brooke Carlson (Jeremy David) of Lakewood Ranch, FL; his grandchildren, Kaien James Carlson, Kirien Joy Carlson of Lakewood Ranch, FL and Stella Marais Molina of Duluth; his niece Jamie Lee Smith of Springfield, MO; his cousin Dianna Wolf of Hinckley, MN; and his family Mark Joseph Elden.
