We are sad to announce that on August 21, 2024, at the age of 86, Verna Marie Gockley Hertzler in Sarasota, Florida, born in Strasburg, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Sweigart and Mary Sweigart; her siblings, Marian Riehl and Parke; and her former husband Charles Gockley.
She is survived by: her husband Dwight Hertzler; her children, Jeff Gockley (Nikki) and Cindy Augsburger; her grandchildren, Kristin, Alex and Sydney; and her great grandchildren, Levi, Silas and Jocelynn.
Should friends desire, contributions may be made in memory of Verna to Lakewood Retreat, Brooksville, Florida, a ministry that she always loved and supported.
