She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie James Porter and Selma Emma Maddox Porter; her husbands, Earnest R. Bennett and Thomas P. McGinniss; her daughters, Judy Bennett and Diane Bennett Soward; and her sister Ruth Porter Raczkowski.
She is survived by: her sisters, Patricia Hardesty (Ralph), Diane Soward (Ralph) and Judy Bennett; her grandchildren, Debbie Thacker (Todd), Lisa Smiley (Steve), Tony Soward (Heidi), Tim Hardesty (Connie), Christy Webber (Josh), Megan Smiley, Tyler Watkins, Cinamon Hardesty and Skyler Hardesty; and her sister Joy Porter Hunter.
