It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert John Shackelford (Sarasota, Florida), born in Fort Benning, Georgia, who passed away at the age of 61, on July 22, 2020. He is survived by: his daughter Kari Shackelford of Pineville, Kentucky; his grandson Christian Robert Shackelford of Pineville, Kentucky; his parents, William Shackelford and Clareen Shackelford of Brandon, Florida; his siblings, Steven Shackelford of Brandon, Florida, Jolyce Lumpkin of Bryant and Elizabeth Baker of Columbus, Georgia; and his nieces, Lindley Stone of Edmond and Lorin Baker of Atlanta, Georgia. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Due to the current pandemic, funeral arrangements are private; although, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
