He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Annie Griffith; his children, Faye Lawson, Kaye Columbus, Marie Ash, Demetrios Young, Fulton Griffith and Charles Ray Darby; and his sister Pellawayne Whitfield. He was also cherished by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
