He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Stanton and Jenniemae Marshall (Hitt); and his wife Patricia Stanton. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Lisa Deal (Willy) of Rutherfordton, NC, Michele Wehrs (Ray) of Rutherfordton, NC and Geoffrey Paul (Rebecca) of Venice, FL; his grandchildren, Christopher Deal (Jessica), Nicole Wehrs, Ashley Wehrs, Anna Paul and Kaytlyn Paul; and his great grandchildren, Logan and Cody Deal.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Davenport Family Funeral Homes and Crematory – Crystal Lake (419 E Terra Cotta Ave, Crystal Lake, IL 60014). The military honors will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A procession will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Windridge Memorial Park (7014 S Rawson Bridge Rd, Cary, IL 60013).
