He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Redding Blount and Jewel Darcy Nalley Blount; and his brother James Marion Blount (Karen). He is survived by: his wife Bernice Johns Blount; and his children, Brenda Clarkson (Rick), Cheryl Breedlove and Owen Blount, Jr.. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
