With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mildred M. (Merves) Fisher of Sarasota, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 8, 2024 at the age of 100. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Merves and Jean Merves (Kaplan) of Philadelphia, PA.; her significant other Harold L. Fisher; and her brother Stanley Merves. She is survived by: her children, Lisheyna Hurvitz of Sarasota and Joseph Fisher (Laura Fisher) of Hingham; her grandchildren, David Hurvitz (Naoko Hurvitz), Rachael Mandell (Andrew Mandell), Rebecca Fisher (Max Resnick) and Benjamin Fisher; her great grandchildren, Stevie, Noah, Theo, Leo and Louie; and also Audrey Merves. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
