We have chuckled and smiled our way through old age’s numerous barriers to enjoying life when your joints ache and your wardrobe is no longer in style. Sometimes I even called her Mom. When Gary was hospitalized, Mildred delivered the message. She is someone I could count on for support in unfamiliar surroundings. I will miss both her voice and her kind words.
