She is survived by: her husband Terry Sommer of Sarasota; her children, Jack Penny (Lisa) of Lake Mary, FL, Michael Penny (Jane) of Berkeley Lake, GA, Charles Penny (Susan) of Roswell, GA and Zoe Ann Penny Midler (Scott) of Longmont, CO; her stepdaughter Tiffany Sommer Loew (Tom) of White Heath, IL; her grandchildren, Jared Penny (Samantha), Kal Penny, Reid Penny (Etienne), Blake Penny (Jeicel), Griffin Midler (Rachel), Wendy Penny, Angela Penny, Alicia Penny, Lauren Penny Vick (Jeff), Claudia Penny Greene (Mitchell) and Miranda Midler; and her great grandchildren, Shey Penny, Lincoln Hadley, Benjamin Penny, Mackenzie Greene, Elliot Penny, Caleb Penny, Bishop Greene and Shepherd Greene.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
