She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Rugg and Dora Rugg; her husband Neville Gritt; her son Andrew; her grandson Timothy; and her sister Joy Woods.
She is survived by: her daughter Michelle Cooper; her daughter-in-law Linda Gritt; and her sister Fay Richards. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations might be made to the children and youth ministry of The Tabernacle Church.
