We bid farewell to Loraine Fletcher in Sarasota, Florida, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 30, 2024 at the age of 87. Loraine touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the vast expanse of eternity, Loraine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Loraine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Fletcher and Alice Fletcher; and her brother Donald Fletcher (Fran). She is survived by: her children, Sharon O'Carroll, Jackie O'Carroll, Terry Strohmeyer (Rodney), Corry Farabee, Larry O'Carroll (Jennifer) and Bryan O'Carroll (Susan). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Georges Episcopal Church (912 63rd Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34207).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Georges Episcopal Church.
