We bid farewell to John S Spittal of Sarasota, Florida, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 25, 2025 at the age of 82. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mardell Anna Spittal and John Malcolm Spittal; and his wife Joan. He is survived by: his sons, John Eric Spittal (Jackie), David Karl Spittal (Lisa) and Eric Steven Spittal (Kim); his stepchildren, James William Maiden and Illene Heather Dyrda (Skip); and his grandchildren, Julia, Johanna, Amelia, Anders and Mackenzie.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (7750 S Beneva Rd, Sarasota, FL 34238).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Faith Lutheran Church or to Hope Springs Farm 201 Trail Rd, Hershey, PA 17033; a day program for children with disabilities.
