He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his grandchildren, Alexxus Berthoty (James), Savannah, Oliver, Henry and Charlie; and his great grandchildren, Lorelai, Zach and Rosalyn.

In lieu of flowers, a donation in his memory may be made to the Samaritan Counseling Services of the Gulf Coast or a charity of your choice.
