He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil and Helen. He is survived by: his wife Sabrina; his children, Tia (Nick), Lucas, Isaac and Alexandria (Mutasem); his grandchildren, Chloe, Miriam, Hazem and Lulu; his son Jacob; his brother Kenneth (Robin); and also John (Robin).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House.
