It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Genevieve Claire Martin of Sarasota, Florida, born in Fort Madison, Iowa, who passed away on September 5, 2024, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Genevieve departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Genevieve. Though Genevieve may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Martin; her siblings, Virgil Hellige and Rosie Becker; and her parents, Henry Hellige and Dorothy Hellige.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Murse; and her siblings, Mary Wenke, Pauline Smith and Arnold Hellige.
