He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Edith Zimmerman (Burrows); his brother Fred Zimmerman; and his former wife Elaine Bejin Zimmerman. He is survived by: his father Frank George Zimmerman; his wife Anita Swift Zimmerman; his stepdaughters, Pamela Weipert (Philip) of South Lyon, Debora O'Brien (Patrick) of Pleasanton and Nicole Destri (Timothy) of Slidell; and his grandchildren, Sarah, James and Michael O'Brien. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
