The various occasions I met with him were a delight and full of spiritual, political and fun meaningful chats. Whether at Applebees after a movie, Yogurtology chats or family and connections related to Ohio experiences, plus group of friends gathered to enjoy each others company were moments I cherished. “We are saddened to learn of the death of Eugene Stutzman who we appreciated so much in person when we attended Covenant Mennonite Fellowship for 6-8 Sundays for the last 7+ years while enjoying winter time at a rental home in Venice. Eugene always welcomed us and was so well versed on history of art related stories in the Mennonite Church....especially Mary Oyer's history and music gifts.
