With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edna Mayree Braun of Sarasota, Florida, born in Tampa, Florida, who passed away on July 30, 2020. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel and Verdie Mayree Scarborough Jennings; and her husband Gilbert L. Braun of Hempstead, NY. She is survived by: her sister Suzette Jennings Blue; her half-sisters, Retha Jennings Hale and Anita Jennings Fairburn; and her children, Karl P. Braun, Katherine Braun Morgan, Kristina Braun Mader and Kimberly E. Braun. She is also survived by 2 nieces, 3 nephews, 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the National Parks Conservation Association or the Hungry Owl Project.
