She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Henry; her daughter Cheryl Omenhiser; her son-in-law Roger; her grandchildren, Ethan and Evelyn; her stepson Michael Sunkenberg (Erica); her siblings, Gail Opie (Robert), Robert Zimmerman (Linda) and Wayne Taylor (Debbie); and her parents, Gerald (Beatrice Taylor) and Ontario. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Church, charity, and outreach were always important to Debby. She used her boundless energy and creative talents to organize neighborhood, charity, and fund-raising activities; support church development and community youth groups; and help friends and neighbors whenever called upon.
