He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolph Kiefer and Lucy Kiefer (Frye); and his siblings, Paul Kiefer, Ann Kiefer, Robert Kiefer and Jack Kiefer.
He is survived by: his wife Blanche; his children, David Lawrence Kiefer (Lihua Xu), Linda Lee Kiefer, Jacqueline Sue Kreyenhagen (William), Jeanine Marie Storn (Kevin) and Donald Lee Miller (Kristin Risch Miller); his grandchild Qina Xu Kiefer; his children, Milan Xu Kiefer, Thomas William Kreyenhagen (Katelyn Craig), Joseph Neil Kreyenhagen (Lauren Dinkelacker), Elissa Lee Miller, Xander Lee Miller, Jenna Storn Bowyer (Isaac) and JustinThomas Storn; and his great grandchildren, Caleb, Lila and Kirby Kreyenhagen.
