With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carl H Jessup of Sarasota, Florida, born in Pilot Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on February 6, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Jessup and Hallie Sawyers; his wife Lyla Jessup; and his brothers, Cleveland and Clinton Jessup.

He is survived by: his daughters, Karisha Boney (Gregory) of Wallace, NC, LaToya Jessup-Bell (Quentin) of Greensboro, NC and Abbreyell Nunemaker (Joshua) of Arnold's Park, IA.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and god-children.

He was also known for his contributions to the underprivileged juveniles and those less fortunate in Sarasota county.
