With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bob David Pollitt (Sarasota, Florida), born in Dayton, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Pollitt and Goldie Pollitt; his siblings, Betty Thompson, Paul Pollitt and Janet Cardwell; and his pets, Millie, Bella and Mazzie.
He is survived by: his children, Monica Smith, Michelle Ayars, Bob Pollitt and Melanie Shirkey; his pet Mylie; his grandchildren, Natalie, Megan, Ashley and Brandon; his great grandchildren, Alexis, Clayton, Foster and Autumn; and his great great grandchild Andre. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The military honors was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
